Carol Cahoon has thrown her hat in the ring for Coquitlam trustee with School District 43.

Carol Cahoon has thrown her hat in the ring for Coquitlam trustee with School District 43. A book keeper and piano teacher with two children in the school system, Cahoon stated in a press release that she is concerned about SD43's budget debit, and will stress openness and accountability if elected.

Cahoon's previous education experience is attending board meetings, work with her schools' Parent Advisory Committee, and her post as the chair and liaison for the Coquitlam Montessori Society.

"We require the injection of new energy, ideas and solutions," she stated.

Cahoon is the third Coquitlam candidate to announce she is running in the election. Also running are Shari O'Neill and Jodie Wickens.
