Helping candidates get their message out to voters is the goal of a partnership between Tri-Cities Community Television and the Tri-City News.
Starting today, Wednesday, the two media outlets have been combining forces to produce short videos for each candidate running in the Nov. 15 election in Coquitlam, Port Moody and Port Coquitlam.
Candidates for city council, mayor and school trustee in all three cities are being asked the same question:
"Why should voters in your community vote for you in the Nov. 15 election?"
The videos are being shot and edited by Geoff Scott and will be uploaded to the Tri-Cities Community Television YouTube Channel and on the Tri-City News online edition under the Election tab.
Voters can also look forward to a Tri-City News Voters' Guide which will be published for each city on Nov. 7.
