Diana Dilworth is seeking a fifth term on Port Moody council in the Nov. 15 civic election.

Diana Dilworth is seeking a fifth term on Port Moody council in the Nov. 15 civic election.

Dilworth was first elected in 1999 and again in 2005, and said in a release that after 12 years on council she still wants to contribute her "experience and knowledge, effectiveness and enthusiasm" for the job.

Critical issues over the coming years will be preserving PoMo's small-town charm while providing "responsible management" for future growth and respecting the city's heritage and environment as the Evergreen line arrives.

"I'm proud to have been part of a council that has spent the last three years working to finalize an official community plan that incorporates the Evergreen Line and has developed a long-term financial strategic plan," Dilworth said.
