Rosemary Small has announced she will run in the Nov. 15 civic election for a second term on Port Moody council.

Small said fostering an accessible atmosphere among council is crucial as the Evergreen Line nears completion.

"We must preserve that small-town feel while encouraging responsible residential and commercial development, and have a clear vision and plan for our city's future," she said in a press release.

Small also aims to help bring the Major Transportation Plan to completion and keep tax levels "at affordable rates for all members of the community."
