#elxn42: Liberal & NDP win Tri-City ridings

The Liberals have won in Coquitlam-Port Coquitlam, the NDP in Port Moody-Coquitlam.

Latest results in the Tri-Cities:

• In Port Moody-Coquitlam, with 73% of polls reporting, incumbent NDP MP Fin Donnelly had 36.3% of the vote to about 30% each for Conservative candidate Tim Laidler and Liberal Jesse Adcock.

• In Coquitlam-Port Coquitlam, with 74% of polls reporting, Liberal candidate Ron McKinnon had 34.7% of the vote to 32.6% for the Tories' Douglas Horne, the former BC Liberal MLA for the area, who had been the favourite to win. The NDP's Sara Norman has 27.2% of the vote.
