Enterprising kids can sell their Halloween candy

Two local businesses will turn kids' Halloween candy into cash for Tri-City ghosts and goblins. Once again, Dr. Ali Amiri at Coquitlam Family Chiropractic will provide a loonie for every pound of candy brought into the office on Nov. 1 from 3-7 p.m.

Once again, Dr. Ali Amiri at Coquitlam Family Chiropractic will provide a loonie for every pound of candy brought into the office on Nov. 1 from 3-7 p.m. As well, kids who participate will get a healthy treat and a chance to win an Ipod Touch. The office is located at at 210-2885 Barnet Highway, Coquitlam (the Royal Bank building).

In Port Coquitlam, Dr. Nareeta Stephenson at Strawberries and Sunshine Healing Centre will buy back unopened candy for $2 per pound (for up to five pounds) between 9:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Nov. 1. This is the first time event for Stephenson whose office is located at at 1530 Prairie Ave.
