It's a bit of a daunting task to drive - or walk - through the Barnet/Lougheed highway intersection these days as the Evergreen Line is built near Coquitlam Centre mall.
Now that crews have wrapped up the elevated guideway installation in Burquitlam, City Centre residents, shoppers and business people can expect heavy work along Pinetree Way to assemble the pre-cast concrete segments.
Starting this week and lasting until mid-December, EGRT Construction will impose temporary lane closures and intermittent traffic stoppages at the busy intersection to operate the launching truss.
