Lane closures will take place on weekend evenings on the Mary Hill Bypass between today (Friday) and Nov. 18 as crews work to complete the Port Mann/Highway 1 project.
One westbound lane between the Coquitlam River bridge and the United Boulevard intersection will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights during that time.
The work is necessary to widen the bypass from its current two lanes to three lanes in each direction as it approaches the new Fraser River crossing.
Drivers are reminded to exercise caution at all times and to obey all posted construction speeds. Traffic fines double in construction zones.
