Trinity United Church will once again host the Tri-Cities Extreme Weather Shelter this year, offering a mat and a warm place to sleep during intense cold periods over the winter.

 

Trinity United Church will once again host the Tri-Cities Extreme Weather Shelter this year, offering a mat and a warm place to sleep during intense cold periods over the winter.

The emergency housing will be available between now and March 31 when extreme weather alerts are declared, offering mats for 20 people

The B.C. government, which funds the program, said he community decides the weather conditions that warrant an alert and how many spaces should be activated on a given night. 

Trinity United Church, which is the tri-Citeis Extreme Weather Shelter, is located at 2211 Prairie Avenue.
