Family 'very concerned' for missing Coquitlam woman's well being

In their search, RCMP say Andrea McIntyre's vehicle was found empty nearly 10 km away from her home.

Andrea McIntyre's family is appealing to the public to help find her.

Coquitlam RCMP said the missing 45-year-old woman is considered to be "high-risk" and loved ones are becoming "very concerned" for her health and well being.

McIntyre's vehicle, which she was last seen leaving in around 1:30 a.m. this morning (March 2), was recently found empty along Argue Street in Port Coquitlam.

That's roughly 10 km east of her Maillardville residence, which is located near the intersection of Rochester Avenue and Ashley Street.

"Police are very concerned for Andrea's well-being considering that her vehicle has been located, unoccupied, near the Fraser River without her," said RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Alexa Hodgins in a statement.

McIntyre is described as:

  • White
  • 5'5"
  • Medium build
  • Blue eyes
  • Blonde hair

As well, she was believed to be wearing a dark navy puffy-style winter jacket when she left her home (see first photo in above gallery).

Anyone with more information on McIntyre or her whereabouts is asked to call Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2023-5578, anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or go online to www.solvecrime.ca.
