While you’re at the hatchery, visit the education centre and have a tour with one of the volunteer members. Exhibits and crafts are part of the day, along with a fundraising hot dog barbecue, sponsored by Save On Foods.

The event runs from10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hyde Creek Education Centre and Hatchery, 3636 Coast Meridian Rd., PoCo. Parking is available at the Hyde Creek rec centre on Laurier Avenue, which is a short walk west along the Traboulay PoCo Trail to the hatchery.
