Former trustee running for council in Port Moody

A Port Moody business owner is announcing her intention to run for city council in the Nov. 15 civic election. Anne Ladouceur said she's focused on supporting small businesses, creating good-paying jobs and protecting the environment.

A Port Moody business owner is announcing her intention to run for city council in the Nov. 15 civic election.

Anne Ladouceur said she's focused on supporting small businesses, creating good-paying jobs and protecting the environment.

"I fell in love with Port Moody the first time I came here," she said in a release. "I am committed to protecting our environment and helping to make sure that our city continues to be an attractive place to live and work."

Ladouceur is a member of the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce and a volunteer with the Share food bank and Port Moody-Coquitlam farmers market. She is a former school trustee and the founder and CEO of Korea4Expats Consulting.
