Got scenic photos of Port Moody? The city needs your help

PoMo's 2022 calendar is being planned and photographers — self-proclaimed and professional — are being asked to submit pics of the city's various landscapes.

Undoubtedly, Port Moody is filled with photogenic opportunities (just ask Tri-City News photographer Mario Bartel).

The city is hoping local residents can get outside and capturing a landscape that it could potentially use for an upcoming project, the 2022 city calendar.

Until Oct. 15, self-starter and professional photographers can submit pictures that may be credited and featured in the calendar, across the Port Moody website and its social media pages.

"We're looking for fantastic photos of all the seasons," a 2022 calendar submission notification reads, noting you can send in more than one photo.

"Upload your stunning sunrises, scenic landscapes and shots that highlight the best of our community."

The city says the snapshots must be landscape orientation, not portrait.
