A Port Coquitlam family discovered an unwelcome surprise Friday morning - a message of hate painted on their front door, just days before Christmas.

Spray painted on the Lincoln Park home's front door was "KKK" and littered in front of the door was a collection of garbage that included feces, condoms, pills, underwear, broken eggs and sausages.

Coquitlam RCMP responded to the call and said they have no suspects and no witnesses and without any new information the "investigation has been exhausted," said Cpl. Jamie Chung.
