The Rotary Club of Coquitlam Sunrise's Quiz Night is also acting as a fundraiser for Douglas College's psychiatric nursing program.

You can test your knowledge — and help the Douglas College psychiatric nursing students with their outreach program — at a quiz night in Coquitlam this month.

The Rotary Club of Coquitlam Sunrise is bringing back its Quiz Night, as well as an online and silent auction, on Sept. 21 to fundraise for the Community Outreach Project.

The program, which boosts the work that nursing students are doing in the classroom and during clinical care time, sees students at Douglas College's Coquitlam campus help people around Metro Vancouver who are impacted by the opioid and mental health crises.

Teams of between four and six people (ages 19 and up) can sign up.

Tickets are $25 per person or $10 for Douglas College students via Eventbrite.

To view the auction items, go to 32auctions.com/quiznight2023. The goal is to bring in $3,000 for the supplies needed for the outreach teams.

Among the auction prizes are:

  • a Crown Royal package
  • a Robert Bateman print
  • an Outland fire bowl

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. event; a cash bar will be open for participants.
