On Aug. 21 and 22, the Share Family and Community Services will host a drive-thru food drive in the southwest parking lot of Coquitlam Centre mall, by The Bay.

The drop-off station will be set up from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

And donors are asked to place their non-perishable items in their trunk before collection, so volunteers can maintain physical distancing.

Here’s what’s needed:

  • rice
  • lentils
  • legumes
  • dried beans
  • canned chilli and stews
  • macaroni and cheese boxes
  • oil
  • honey
  • cereal
  • canned mushrooms
  • canned chickpeas

Monetary contributions — via debit or credit cards — will also be accepted ahead of time via sharesociety.ca/donate-to-share.
