Eighteen people are running for one of six seats on Port Coquitlam council in the Oct. 15 municipal election.

Port Coquitlam candidates running for office on Oct. 15 will be trying to earn your vote at a meeting tonight (Oct. 3).

The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is hosting a meeting at Riverside Community Church (2329 Fremont Conn., Port Coquitlam).

There will be 18 candidates vying for votes during the meeting that takes place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting will also be livestreamed via Zoom.

You can also ask questions via Slido although they will be limited by time.

Mayor Brad West was acclaimed as were school trustees Michael Thomas and Christine Pollock.
