Online, phone and in-person registration for Coquitlam summer swimming and skating lessons is going live on Wednesday (April 26).
The city is set to open the application process at 8:30 a.m. that morning, with an advanced virtual look tomorrow (April 24) at what programs will be available this year.
Interested participants can only be registered for one set of lessons at a time, explained Vinh Truong, Coquitlam's community recreation manager, in a news release.
He added that parents can sign up their kids for the next set of lessons on the last day of the current set, which will allow "more families to gain access to the limited number of available lessons."
Truong is also reminding that kids can be withdrawn from a program if parents register them in more than one set or in future lessons sets prior to completing their current one.
As well, registration for general recreation and fitness at Coquitlam facilities is scheduled to open for all ages on May 17 at 8:30 a.m., with an advanced look at listed programs on May 15.
