Burnaby is back at the $2 per litre threshold for local fuel.
Gas stations are averaging that number ahead of the long weekend, as of this publication, March 28, according to GasBuddy.com (see list below).
However, there are five outlets offering less than $2 per litre.
The cheapest is set at $1.95 per litre at the Kingsway Super Save Gas and Canada Way Smart Gas.
The least expensive in all of Metro Vancouver is set at $1.93 per litre at the Centex and GOMarket along Lougheed Highway in Pitt Meadows.
Meanwhile, the most affordable gas in all of B.C. can be found in the Okanagan and north central interior.
Tappen's Trans Canada Esso station, located 15 km north of Salmon Arm and 435 km north east of Burnaby, is offering $1.57 per litre.
