Classes are in session at all School Districdt 43 schools after a decision was made early Thursday morning to open schools.
School District 43 is reporting on Twitter that while schools are open, parents and guardians can choose to keep their child or children home if they feel conditions are unsafe.
BCIT, UBC and SFU campuses are also open, as well, TWU classes are still on in Richmond and Langley.
This comes after a large snowfall on Wednesday that snarled traffic, slowed transit and shut schools and campuses across the Lower Mainland.
