Jigs, reels and laments: Triskellion readies for Coquitlam show

Three musicians whose band name is a three-sided Celtic knot will entertain in Coquitlam next month.

Rebecca Blair (harp), Michelle Carlisle (flute/voice) and Rosie Carver (fiddle) — better known as Triskellion — will perform in a show called What a Wonderful World on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Place des Arts (1120 Brunette Ave.).

The performance at 7 p.m. aims to take listeners through the British Isles by way of jigs, reels, laments and ballads.

Blair and Carver are on faculty at the Maillardville arts hub while Carlisle and Carver are members of Blackthorn, a Celtic ensemble that regularly plays at Celtic events around the Lower Mainland.
