What is hypertension? Local seniors can find out at a talk next week.
Dogwood Pavilion, a Coquitlam recreation facility for people 50 years of age and older, will host Penny Lehoux, a pharmacist with London Drugs, to discuss hypertension from 10 to 11 a.m. Lehoux will talk about what makes your blood pressure rise and why you should worry about it. The presentation will also include information on how to keep your blood pressure under control and how to use home blood pressure machines.
