Port Moody is joining a planned class action lawsuit to sue big oil companies to hold them accountable for the impacts of climate change on local communities.

The Editor:

Re: Port Moody joins class action lawsuit against major oil corporations

I don’t want my Coquitlam government getting involved in any lawsuit against oil companies to further climate change special interest groups agendas.

They need to account for the billions of dollars wasted to date first with no measurable change in the climate.

The oil companies have and are using technology to reduce emissions and have made way more progress than any of the special interest groups.

All the special interest groups have accomplished is to cause inflation and lower Canadians living standards.
