Reading Spotlight

Join us for a book lover’s discussion. Literary insights optional! Library staff will share their current favorite reads. If you have a book or two you’d like to tell the group about, we’d love to hear it! All genres welcome. Book titles will be sent to participants after each session. Budding Biologists

Calling all future scientists! Learn about the form and function of insects and birds – and how they’ve adapted for survival. PORT MOODY PUBLIC LIBRARY

Pro-D Code Camp for Beginners
Come learn the basics of coding by using Scratch, a block-based programming language. Learn how to make a game or an animation with your own creative spin. Friday, September 24, 1-2:30pm on Zoom. This class is for kids ages 8-12 who have never used Scratch or are not independently creating projects in Scratch. Registration starts September 10th.

Back to School Story Stroll
Join us outside on Saturday, September 11, 10:30-11:15am for a walk, story, and craft. Story Stroll will also be available for self-guided use from September 4-18. Registration for September 11th program starts September 1st.

Among Us for Kids
Are you busy doing your tasks or are you sabotaging the ship? Join us Friday, September 17, 4-5pm on Zoom to play Among Us and see if you can find the imposters before they eliminate everyone. The game Among Us must be downloaded on to your tablet, computer, or Smartphone before the program. Kids 9+.
