Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody residents looking for employment are invited to attend the Tri-Cities Job Fair next week at the Evergreen Cultural Centre.
The free event will feature a variety of employment opportunities in both the private and public sectors, such as government, hospitality, health care, customer service and finance. More than 1,000 job seekers are expected to attend.
"With the unemployment rate across the Lower Mainland so low, the chances of a well-prepared job seeker achieving employment are very high," said Najah Hage, the associated director of the Tri-Cities WorkBC Centre.
The event takes place on Tuesday, Nov. 19, between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam). Click here to register.
