12 DAYS AT LEIGH SQUARE

The 12 Days of Christmas program runs in Leigh Square from now until Dec. 12 with a series of holiday inspired art workshops, a choir performance and a holiday movie night. See the full schedule at www.portcoquitlam.ca/leighsquare.

PoCo is also offering the following Christmas activities:

Wednesday, Dec 3, 5:30 p.m. - Youth and Senior's Dinner Night, Wilson Centre, $2/youth, $5/Adult.

Thursday, Dec. 4, 7-9 p.m. - Exhibition Opening Beyond Real: Overexposed Underexposed, Leigh Square, free.

Saturday, Dec. 6, 10 p.m.-7a.m. - Youth Wake Over, Hyde Creek, $26, stay up all night playing games and doing activities. Breakfast included.

Saturday, Dec. 6, Christmas Line Dance Social 1-5 p.m., Wilson Centre, $7 for members $9 for non-members, registration required.

Wednesday, Dec. 10, 5-7 p.m. - Youth and Seniors Community Dinner, Wilson Centre, Free.

Thursday,, Dec. 11 - 6:30-8 p.m. - Felice Choir Holiday Concert (All Ages), Leigh Square, $5.

Friday , Dec. 12, 5-7 p.m. - Youth and Seniors Community Turkey Dinner, Hyde Creek, free; 6:45-8:15 p.m. - Christmas Movie Night - the Grinch, PoCo Rec Complex, free; 6:45-8 p.m. - Skate, PoCo Rec Complex, regular admission.

Saturday, Dec. 13,The Annual Breakfast with Santa takes place at 9 a.m. at the Wilson Centre. Pre-registration required. Tickets are $9 per person. Breakfast will served between 9:30-10:15 a.m.

Sunday, Dec. 14th, come skate with Santa and his helpers from 1:15 to 3:45 p.m. at the Port Coquitlam Recreation Complex, regular admission. Enjoy free hot chocolate and holiday treats.

CPR HOLIDAY TRAIN

Holiday Train

On Thursday, Dec. 18, the Canadian Pacific Railway Holiday Train arrives at 7:15 p.m. at the Port Coquitlam West Coast Express Station at 2125 Kingsway Ave, making Port Coquitlam the last stop of its cross-country journey. The event starts with a free skate from 5:45 to 7 p.m. at the Port Coquitlam Recreation Complex (free skate & rentals).

The holiday trains are decorated with hundreds of thousands of LED lights with performances featuring Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo and Tracey Brown a member of the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame.

Free parking for the event will be available at the Port Coquitlam Recreation Complex and in the east portion of the West Coast Express parking lot. People are advised to dress for the weather and to wear reflective items on their clothing to make sure they can be seen when crossing the streets in the dark. Free cocoa will be served and firefighters will be on hand to collect donations of food, money or unwrapped toys for Share Family and Community Service's holiday drive. Donations can also be dropped off at any of the City's holiday events.

KIDS CAMPS
