This week School District 43 will kick off its budget deliberations for the next school year.
But while the Tuesday, April 10 board meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the gym at Winslow Centre, some of the financial discussion won’t start until 7:35 according to the board agenda for the evening and the actual 2018/19 preliminary budget presentation won’t start until 8:30 p.m.
The April 10 meeting is the first public discussion of the upcoming school operating budget, with a special public board meeting planned for April 17 at 6:30 p.m, and a final presentation and approval on April 24 at 7 p.m.
All meetings will be at the Winslow Centre Gymnasium, 1100 Winslow Ave., Coquitlam.
