Coquitlam Express goalie Adam Manji stopped all 39 shots he faced Friday against the Langley Rivermen to earn his second shutout of the season.

Adam Manji stopped 39 shots to earn his second shutout of the BC Hockey League season and lead his Coquitlam Express to a 3-0 win over the Langley Rivermen, Friday at the Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex.

Manji stopped 14 shots in the first period, 12 in the second and 13 in the third, as the Rivermen outshot the home team 39-35.

Jake Manfre opened the scoring 7:50 into the first period while Sebastian Bradshaw and Cole Melady added insurance goals in the third period.

Melady also had two assists.

The win was Coquitlam’s third in a row and came in front of a capacity crowd of more than 1,900 fans.

The two teams meet again tomorrow at the George Preston Arena in Langley.
