Shoppers headed to the Tri-Cities’ two Real Canadian Superstores should expect to mask up after the grocery retailer moved to tighten its mask policy across the country.
Any entering a store is required to wear face covering, announced the company in a Facebook post last weekend.
“Starting Saturday August 29, 2020 masks or face coverings will be mandatory at all Real Canadian Superstore® locations,” announced the company.
The company's Coquitlam Centre branch (3000 Lougheed Highway) and Maillardville location (1301 Lougheed Highway) are both affected by the new rules.
The mandatory mask policy follows similar moves by grocery giants like T&T, Walmart, and more recently, No Frills.
This follows Dennis’ No Frills at 1916 Como Lake Ave. reporting earlier this month on its Facebook page that one of its team members recently tested positive for coronavirus.
