Why are you running? "I am in a unique position just completing six years on council and I am in the best possible position to be aware of changes that need to happen and how to best implement those changes so our community can grow in a responsible and fiscally sustainable way."
What are your top three campaign issues? "Experience: connection to other municipal leaders and collaboration with staff. Vision: maintain semi-rural lifestyle but with solid planning and good long-term direction. Leadership: mayor and council are responsible for developing policies in conjunction with staff and community input. It takes a skilled leader with strong people skills to ensure that the ideas make it off of the table and go through to implementation."
How do you see the village evolving over the next four years? "Through controlled growth with a great deal of resident engagement and feedback, as outlined in our new OCP."
