Another candidate has announced plans to run in the 2014 municipal election.
Meghan Lahti, who served on Port Moody council from 1996 to 2011, is looking for a seat at the PoMo council table again in the Nov. 15 contest with plans to safeguard the city's "small-town charm," she said in a press release yesterday.
"Residents have voiced concern about the lack of vision and direction from the current council," Lahti stated. "I believe that I can provide the leadership needed."
Lahti is a regional director of operations with Sprott Shaw College.
