‘Minor’ crash Sunday in Port Coquitlam turns deadly

A passenger in one of three vehicles involved in a seemingly minor collision Sunday has died from his injuries.

The victim, an 82-year-old man from Pitt Meadows, was a passenger in a red Subaru Outback that collided with a grey Volkswagen Passat that then crashed into a white Chevy Colorado pickup at around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Mary Hill Bypass and Pitt River Road. The man was transported to hospital, but succumbed to his injuries on Monday.
