A motorcycle driver was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle accident Saturday night in the 500-block of the Lougheed Highway.
The crash, which occurred around midnight, caused the closure of the eastbound lanes between North Road and the Joey's restaurant driveway for three hours.
Only one person was involved in the accident and police said they were not in a position to disclose the cause of the accident at this time.
