Anmore Mayor John McEwen told The Tri-City News on Thursday that Tim Harris had left the village after more than 20 years of service, including three years as the CAO.

McEwen was unable to comment on the departure of the former public works manager; however, he said council met Wednesday night to review the next steps for recruiting a new CAO. "It will be a transparent process," said McEwen, who was elected as mayor last November.

The top job is currently being filled by corporate officer Karen-Ann Cobb.
