The new MLA for Coquitlam-Burke Mountain has another title.
Yesterday, Joan Isaacs was sworn into her provincial post and named parliamentary secretary for early childhood education to Minister Mike Bernier.
The position, like BC Liberal cabinet jobs announced Monday, likely won’t last as a confidence vote is expected next week in the legislature.
Isaacs won her seat by 87 votes after downing BC NDP incumbent Jodie Wickens.
