The newest MLAs for the Tri-Cities now have their office doors open to the public.
Linda Reimer, who replaced Joe Trasolini as MLA for Port Moody-Coquitlam, will be sharing her constituency space for the summer with fellow BC Liberal MLA Doug Horne (Coquitlam-Burke Mountain).
Their joint office is located in Suter Brook at 203-130 Brew St., Port Moody. Horne plans to move into his riding in the City Centre area in September, his assistant Bernie Hiller said.
Previously, Horne shared his Brew Street office with Iain Black, whose resignation prompted a byelection in 2009. When Trasolini won, that space was divided in half and is now too small to accommodate two MLAs, Hillier said. To reach Horne, call 604 949-1424 or email [email protected].
Reimer's constituency business will be handled by Isabel Acosta Sowerby. Reimer can be reached at 604-949-1424 or [email protected].
Meanwhile, her former Coquitlam council colleague Selina Robinson - the newly elect BC NDP MLA for Coquitlam-Maillardville - has her office at 102-1108 Austin Ave., the space that was previously used by NDP MLAs Diane Thorne and John Cashore. Laura Gullickson is her constituency assistant. To reach Robinson, call 604-933-2001 or email [email protected].
Farnworth will continue to have his riding office at 107A-2748 Lougheed Hwy., Port Coquitlam. To reach him, call 604 927-2088 or email [email protected].
