A new face will be seen in school board offices at School District 43 with the hiring of Reno Ciolfi as assistant superintendent.
Currently serving as director of instruction in the Burnaby school district, Ciolfi has extensive leadership experience at the school and district levels.
He will take on his post this summer and will fill a vacancy left by Maureen Dockendorf, who has been seconded to the Ministry of Education as superintendent of reading.
"I am thrilled to join Coquitlam School District, as it has a reputation as a leading edge school district," Ciolfi stated in a press release. "I look forward to utilizing my skills and experience in being part of a team that will propel the district even further towards its vision of Learning Without Boundaries," he added.
