Some new faces will be in schools starting in September with the recent appointments of new vice-principal and principal appointments.
The following School District 43 administrative appointments are effective July 1.
At the elementary level, Michele Reid will move from acting principal at Harbour View elementary to principal at Mary Hill elementary school, Marsha Arnold will move from vice-principal at Mountain View elementary to acting principal at Mountain View and Cari-Lee Denton, former vice-principal at R.C. MacDonald will be the new vice-principal at Panorama Heights.
Middle schools will see some changes, too: Margaret Mary Deck will move from vice-principal at Eagle Ridge elementary to vice-principal at Scott Creek, Kirk Deutschmann, moves from vice-principal at Glenayre to vice-principal at Citadel, Stefan Lageston moves from vice-principal at Minnekhada to vice-principal at Hillcrest, and Mike Slinger moves from vice-principal at Scott Creek to vice-principal at Banting middle.
Meanwhile, Margo McKnight, principal at Mary Hill elementary will be retiring and Craig Reitchel, who has been working as vice-principal at Banting middle will return to retirement.
