A tentative deal has been reached, ending 26 days of job action by unionized bus drivers.

Thousands of Tri-City commuters will be breathing a sigh of relief this morning after news that a three-day bus strike has been averted.

A tentative deal was reached at about 12:30 a.m. today in eleventh-hour talks.

Unifor Local 111 and 2200 have sent out a statement early this morning.

Unifor workers will report to work for their normal shifts on Wednesday.
