No, not the beer: Port Moody's Brewers Row tasting rooms are closing

The taps in the tasting rooms at Port Moody's Brewer's Row are turning off because the tasting rooms be configured to ensure social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The breweries are still open, though, for off-sales.

Visitors to Port Moody’s Brewers Row will have to quench their thirst for suds at home. 

The city’s craft breweries are closing their tasting rooms. 

In a joint statement, Yellow Dog Brewing, Moody Ales, Twin Sails Brewing, The Parkside Brewery and The Bakery Brewing said in light of the latest information about the novel coronavirus pandemic from the provincial health authority, and with no way to ensure social distancing in their tasting rooms, they’ll only be doing off-sales of their beer for customers to take home effective after closing Monday. 

“We hope to have your continued support and look forward to welcoming you back,” said the statement posted on the social media channels of each brewery. 

Moody Ales, Yellow Dog, Parkside and The Bakery close at 8 p.m. Monday; Twin Sails closes at 7 p.m. 

All breweries are urging customers to check their social media feeds and websites for up-to-date information for openings for off-sales.
