Drivers should be aware of some late night road closures this weekend as construction continues on the Port Mann Highway 1 project.
Early Sunday morning (March 18), from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m., access to Brunette Avenue northbound from Highway 1 westbound (Exit 40A) will be closed, requiring drivers to take a detour at Gaglardi Way.
Drivers are also reminded to watch for electronic message boards and to exercise caution at all times. Watch for work crews and equipment and obey all traffic control personnel signs, including construction speed limits.
Be aware that speeding fines double in construction zones.
