A Coquitlam yoga instructor is set to host a pair of fundraising sessions for United Way's Local Love program on Feb. 19 and 26, 2023.

Has your life become more busy recently, and you're not sure how to relax?

Are you stuck in a routine and/or unsure about your future or where you want to go?

A team of Coquitlam businesses, are hoping to lift spirits and provide guidance in helping the community achieve its individual goals.

"Up Level Your Life" is also acting as a fundraiser for the United Way Local Love initiative that aims to help struggling families put food on the table as the cost of living continues to rise.

The event is set to bring yoga and vision boarding in the same room at the Oasis Wellness Centre — located at 1111 Austin Ave.

After finding zen for the body and soul, life coaches Alma Tarelli and Mariah-Jane Thies (aka the Radiant Speaker) will lead a session that teaches participants about setting a course for life's achievements.

This includes goals for personal growth, health, community involvement and even your love life.

"Up Level Your Life," hosted and organized by Coquitlam realtor Renata Steele, has two sessions currently scheduled at Oasis as there's a 20-person limit to each two-hour class.

The first is set to take place Feb. 19 from noon to 2 p.m., while the second is slated for Feb. 26.

Interested participants can RSVP and find more information through the event's Facebook page.

Successful signees are asked to bring a "healthy snack or drink" to share with the group.

On Our Radar is a thing we do when we're looking forward to an event that we think the public should be aware of. Think you have something for it? Email us at newsroom@tricitynews.com.
