The city of Port Coquitlam wants to know how it can get the word out better to its residents.
City staff are gauging feedback on its communication methods via an online survey, which can be accessed at www.portcoquitlam.ca/survey.
The survey takes five to 10 minutes to complete and respondents can win one of 10 $20 gift cards for parks and recreation programs; the deadline to enter is April 30.
Results of the survey are confidential and will form part of the city's first strategic communications plan. In 2010 and last year, PoCo was honoured by the Union of BC Municipalities for its outreach efforts with social media.
"The city is committed to providing residents and the business community with information they need - whether it's day-to-day information about services, or how to have their say about city activities," Mayor Greg Moore said in a news release. "We are looking for input and ideas that will help us improve how we engage the community."
