The Overwaitea Food Group (OFG) (parent company of Save-On-Foods, Overwaitea Foods, Cooper's Foods, PriceSmart Foods and Urban Fare) has entered into an agreement to purchase all of Zellers pharmacy business including prescription files in B.C. and the majority of Zellers pharmacy business including prescription files in Alberta as well as from The Bay stores in Vancouver, Victoria, Prince George and Edmonton. This move complements OFG's commitment to providing exceptional pharmacy service and a wide range of health and wellness products and services to Western Canadians.

OFG has pharmacies in 97 stores across B.C. and Alberta, conveniently neighbouring Zellers and The Bay locations and has a customer-focused transition plan in place to ensure continuity of care for Zellers' and The Bay pharmacy patients.
