Photos: See how the snow transformed the Tri-Cities into a winter wonderland

Send us your photos and videos as the "Tri-City News" will share them in a gallery on our website.

The rain is starting to turn the soft snow that's fallen around the Tri-Cities over the past couple of days into brown slush.

By next week, most of it will likely be gone.

But as it fell Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 17 and 18, there's no doubt our environs were transformed into a monochrome wonderland.

For every moment of frustration and inconvenience getting around in the challenging conditions or enduring cancellations and delays, there was likely a counter moment of admiration for how several centimetres of snow can instantly beautify our otherwise drab winter environs.

We'd like to share your photos and videos of the winter wonderland around us these past few days.

How it works

Email your favourite winter photos and/or videos you shot in the recent storm and we'll feature them in a gallery on our website.

Ideally, photos should be horizontal, and at least 1,000 pixels wide.

Be sure to include your name, city of residence, and a few words about where the photo was taken, as well as what captivated you in the scene.
