Coquitlam RCMP are searching for two suspects in connection with an alleged theft and subsequent credit card fraud.
On the morning of June 25 a Coquitlam man discovered someone had broken into his vehicle overnight and stolen his wallet, which contained his driver's licence, Care Card and credit cards. Later that morning he received a fraud alert form one of the credit card companies; by the time he called the other card companies he learned his cards had been used at several local businesses.
Photos taken from security camera footage at those businesses has led investigators to believe a man and woman were related to the fraudulent credit card transactions.
