The Coquitlam RCMP is seeking the public's assistance in locating two men that allegedly robbed an 18-year-old of his black iPhone 4 outside the McDonald's on North Road near Austin Avenue last month.
On Sept. 10 the victim was walking down North Road at around 4 a.m. listening to music when the two suspects approached him and asked if they could use the phone.
Before the victim could answer one man grabbed the phone out of his hand and fled. The victim and a passerby chased the suspects but lost sight of them near the Lougheed SkyTrain station.
The first suspect is described as a South Asian male, in his early 20s, between five-foot-six and five-foot ten-inches tall with a slim build. He was wearing a red hoodie and baggy blue jeans.
The second suspect is described as a Caucasian male in his early 20s, who was six-feet tall wearing a white and black hoodie.
The Coquitlam RCMP would also like to speak with the unidentified passerby who assisted the victim.
