Coquitlam RCMP is asking for the public's help to identify a man they believe stole a $700 iPhone from a Rogers store earlier this month.
On Oct. 8, a Caucasian man believed to be in his 20s asked an employee at the store if he could look at a new 16 gB iPhone 4. When the employee looked away for a few moments, the suspect quickly slipped out the door.
Police believe the man was involved in a similar incident in Port Coquitlam.
Anyone who can identify the suspect is asked to call Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2011-28714. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.solvecrime.ca.
