An elderly pedestrian is recovering in hospital after being struck by a beige Ford F350 pickup at the intersection of Robinson Street and Clarke Road Thursday afternoon.
Coquitlam RCMP is looking for anyone who saw what happened to come forward and witnesses are urged to contact police at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2011-28921.
The driver remained at the scene and police do not believe that alcohol was a factor in the incident.
The extend of the pedestrian's injuries is not known at this time.
