The city of Port Moody is encouraging its residents to participate in an Ipsos Reid survey starting today (Monday).
The citizen satisfaction survey, being conducted by phone, will poll PoMo residents about the city's services, communications and public engagement activities.
A release from the city asks that if you get a call from Ipsos, that you participate by answering all the questions. "It's important that we hear from as many residents as possible so we have a more accurate reflection of what's on the community's mind," the release states.
The city will use the survey results to evaluate its communications methods and make improvements to better serve residents.
It will also inform the budget process by providing council and staff with accurate information on satisfaction levels, concerns and priorities.
The survey results will be available on the city's website this summer.
